Ministry of Defence - Appointed Infrastructure Manager (Jan 10)
Day & Johnson have been appointed as Infrastructure Manager for the
Multi Billion Pound PFI project that will replace the RAF's ageing VC10
and Tristar fleet with "State of the Art" Airbus A330's for air to air
refuelling and troop transport.

Cornbow Centre Extension – Halesowen, Birmingham (Feb 09)
Day & Johnson have recently completed the Commercial Management of the Cornbow Centre extension in Halesowen, Birmingham.  The project comprised a complex extension to the existing shopping centre facility to provide a large food based retail unit together with ancillary retail units and a 600 space multi storey car park over.  The site was extremely restricted and constrained at all boundaries by existing town centre features, a bus station, highways and existing live and operational service yards.  The scheme completed to the Client’s required budget and the Practice received a financial bonus for the professional services provided.

Tesco Mixed Use Scheme Out to Tender - Yiewsley (Feb 09)
This mixed use scheme which received Planning in 2008 is a prestigious project which involves the development of a new Tesco’s store on stilts together with 24 canal side apartments and all associated infrastructure and services including significant highway works.  The scheme was issued for tender in January 2009 and is due to be on site in 2nd Qtr 2009.

Calor Gas - Avonmouth (Feb 09)
Day & Johnson are pleased to advise their appointment for the initial feasibility works on the break bulk storage facility for Calor Gas at Avonmouth.  The scheme comprises the storage of 2,000 tonnes of LPG together with associated distribution and support facilities.  The project is due to be tendered in 2009 with the majority of construction works occurring through 2010.
